Through the Next Generation Connecticut Initiative, UConn’s main campus in Storrs continues to expand its facilities to advance STEM opportunities, including the addition of the groundbreaking Science 1 Research Center, one of UConn’s largest and most technologically advanced facilities. The Connecticut Institute for Resilience & Climate Adaptation (CIRCA) at UConn Avery Point in Groton is equipping climate researchers and policymakers to address extreme weather events and rising sea levels. And at UConn Health’s campus in Farmington, the state-of-the-art Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility is pioneering new methods to tackle critical biomedical problems.
