Envisioning 2034

As an R1 institution, research is at the heart of UConn’s vision for the future. When President Radenka Maric was appointed in 2023, she convened the University's Envisioning 2034 Initiative (effective 2024) to ensure the next 10 years at UConn continue to prioritize research, student success, and sustainability, fueling Connecticut's vibrant innovation sector and economy. The Envisioning 2034 Initiative embraces the UConn community's core values, as well as President Maric's.
