Cybersecurity

UConn continues to position itself as a national leader in cyber and physical security to protect society from data theft, computer hacking, and other acts of aggression that make our world cyber insecure. With multiple researcher centers addressing different types of serious cybersecurity threats, UConn helps find solutions for the financial sector, the integrity of electronic elections, mobile device security, and more. Through these collaborative centers, UConn investigates, develops, and promotes implementation-ready hardware and software for indispensable defense and commercial applications.

In order to combat disease, we need to both cure and prevent. There is no question that effective, evidence-based interventions and informed policy decisions save lives. At UConn and UConn Health, we have a deep bench of health behavior experts working to develop innovative, therapies, drug treatments, interventions, and policies to address conditions like obesity, HIV/AIDS, addiction, health disparities, and others that affect our society on an epidemic scale.
